Durham BOCC Invites Public to Hybrid September 8 Session to Deliberate Renaming of County Building

The Durham Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is set to convene for a Regular Session meeting on September 8 at 7 p.m., welcoming the public to join both in person and online. The gathering will take place in the Commissioners’ Chambers on the second floor of the Administration I Building at 200 E. Main St. Demonstrating commitment to accessibility, the BOCC continues to offer various viewing options for residents, ensuring those at home can also partake in the civic process, as per the announcement from the Durham County.

According to the same announcement, no advance sign-up or request form is needed to attend meetings; however, the BOCC recommends masking in indoor spaces to benefit others, The Durham Television Network (DTN) has made it easier for residents to follow proceedings by returning to the Spectrum channel lineup and broadcasting the sessions live, in addition to replay options on Spectrum Channel 8 and 1302, Frontier Communications Channel 70, and AT&T U-verse Channel 99, for those wanting to watch the meetings live can download the BoxCast app and search for “City of Durham” to catch the on-demand content.
