DURHAM, N.C. – Liam Moloney shot a 7-under 65, the second-best round to par in school history, on Saturday at Duke’s Rod Myers Invitational and John H. Ryan Memorial and is second individually after two rounds.
Moloney hit a six iron to 15 feet on the Duke University Golf Club’s ninth hole, his last of the day, and made the ensuing put for eagle to cap his round which also featured six birdies and only one bogey.
He is 7-under for the tournament after making his college debut Friday with an even-par 72. Moloney is one shot behind UNC Wilmington’s John Logan in the individual race…
