Felon nabbed with machine gun after disturbance across from NC police station; illegal items in ‘plain view’: Officers

OXFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — A felon is facing several charges, including possession of a weapon of mass destruction and a machine gun, after a disturbance just feet from a central North Carolina police station, officers said.

The incident was first reported as a breaking and entering on Monday at a home at 205 E. McClanahan St., according to a Tuesday evening Oxford Police Department news release.
