Fireworks explode as Durham firefighters respond to ‘fully involved’ shed, blaze spreads to woods

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Crews in Durham dealt with fireworks exploding as a shed burned and the fully involved fire spread to nearby woods on Saturday afternoon, officials said.

The blaze was reported amid very dry conditions just before 2 p.m. near homes at 2021 So-Hi Drive in east Durham, according to the Durham Fire Department.
