A 16-year-old lost their life, and two other teens were injured in a crash late Sunday night in Apex.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on U.S. 64 Highway near Knollwood Drive. According to Apex police, a white Chevrolet Malibu was speeding when it hit a drainage culvert and flipped multiple times. One passenger was partially thrown from the vehicle.
