Police are still investigating how a school van with 13 students aboard was involved in a multi-car crash in Holly Springs on Friday afternoon.
The van carried students from Magnolia Montessori Academy, a town spokesperson told ABC11, The News & Observer’s newsgathering partner. None of the students were seriously injured — some sustained minor bruises and bumps — but the van driver was taken to a hospital.
ABC11’s helicopter footage showed the van in a woody area just off Holly Springs Road. Town police chief Paul Liquorie told CBS 17 that the van veered off the road when it entered a roundabout at a high speed. It hit at least three cars before ending up in an embankment…
