Man killed after being struck by train in Durham near Duke East Campus, police say

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A man was struck and killed by a train Wednesday in Durham, according to police.

The Durham Police Department said officers responded to a train collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Campus Drive and West Pettigrew Street around 5:02 p.m. Wednesday. The location across Main Street from Duke East Campus and not far from Duke’s main campus.
