A man was found dead on Franklin Street in downtown Chapel Hill on Thursday morning, the town said.
A Chapel Hill police officer on foot patrol found the man’s body at 11:10 a.m. on the 300 block of West Franklin Street, the town said in a statement. The town did not release the man’s name.
The man’s cause of death was not immediately clear and will be determined by a medical examiner, the town said. An investigation is underway…
