One person arrested following drug bust in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — The owner of popular downtown restaurant Whiskey Kitchen is facing multiple drug trafficking and possession charges after authorities seized cocaine, ketamine, marijuana, and other substances from his Raleigh home, according to newly released search warrants.

Michael Gregory Thor, 43, was arrested in July following a search of his residence on South East Street. Investigators reported finding a wide range of drugs and paraphernalia, including:

  • 54 grams of cocaine
  • 3 grams of ketamine
  • 9 grams of alprazolam pills
  • 40 grams of marijuana in packaging
  • 720 grams of psilocybin gummies
  • 7,878 grams of THC gummies
  • 25 grams of liquid vape pens
  • Three digital scales, sandwich bags, and a grinder
  • Two packages of fentanyl test strips
  • A cannabis cookie and other marijuana items totaling over 20 grams

Thor was charged with trafficking cocaine, felony possession of marijuana, and several counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver controlled substances, including psilocybin, ketamine, and alprazolam. He also faces charges of maintaining a dwelling for drug activity and selling controlled substances within 100 feet of a park.
