A section of Chapel Hill Road near Ward Street in Durham will be closed for over a week, according to NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT).
Starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, the road will be closed until the evening of Oct. 24 as crews work to replace a crossline pipe that has failed.
Drivers should pay close attention to posted signs and use extra caution in the work zone.
