Raleigh, NC – The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a Frost Advisory for much of central North Carolina, including the Triad, Triangle, and Sandhills regions, from 3 a.m. until 9 a.m. Friday.
Forecasters say temperatures in the lower to mid-30s will result in widespread frost formation across Forsyth, Guilford, Alamance, Orange, Durham, Wake, Moore, and Lee counties, as well as parts of the northern Coastal Plain and Piedmont.
According to meteorologist 26, frost could harm or kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered. Residents are advised to cover garden plants, bring potted vegetation indoors, and protect outdoor pipes ahead of the cold morning…
