Around the Triangle, the Durham Performing Arts Center, better known as the DPAC, is known for its variety of great performances available year round. This coming November, there are going to be 18 different performers appearing at the DPAC. These shows will excite many different demographics, from people who enjoy musicals, to talk shows, to even concerts. No matter if watchers sit at the tippy top off the theater or feet away from the stage, these shows promise to wow the audience.
The first show of the month will stay at the DPAC for six consecutive days, lasting from Oct. 28th to Nov. 2nd; SIX the musical is a popular modernized retelling of the lives of the six wives of Henry the eighth, performed as a pop singing competition. After this broadway show, three different genres of singers will appear; Tye Tribbett, John Fogerty and The Wailin’ Jennys. Known for her sharp witted comedy, Wanda Skyes, accompanied by Keith Robinson, will be performing a comedy special on Nov. seventh.
On the following night, an electrifying mix of classical and hip hop, curated by the Black Violin is set to appear. On Nov. ninth, a crowd immersing talent hosted by the Reality ministry will take place, showcasing both people with and without disabilities…
