New details in an ITEAM investigation into a Durham foundation accused of not paying its employees. A new lawsuit was filed this week in Durham County against CJF America.
The Thompson sisters filed this lawsuit and seek unpaid wages. ABC11 Troubleshooter Diane Wilson first talked to Briana, Jasmine, and Kalisa Thompson in July when they worked for CJF America’s summer camp in Durham as camp counselors, but said they didn’t get paid. The sisters showed us these paychecks, which they say the bank wouldn’t cash due to the funds in the account not being verified.
