The City of Durham is inviting residents aged 13 and older to join Community Conversations in November 2025. These events will collect public input on funding priorities for the City’s Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget. Registration is available in English and Spanish.
There will be six in-person events at locations across Durham. Venues include the Durham Armory, El Futuro, Holton Career and Resource Center, Durham County South Regional Library, Lyon Park Senior Center, and The W.G. Pearson Center. Each session will start with a community meal. Participants will receive a $25 Visa gift card. On-site childcare and Spanish interpretation will be available.
The City’s Budget and Management Services Department and the Community Partnerships and Engagement Department are organizing the events. Feedback from these sessions will be shared with the City Council. The input will help inform budget decisions at council retreats in February 2026…
