Audrey Clark, a 2025 graduate, is pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Duke University. She plans to begin practicing after her expected graduation in May 2028. Clark states that her education at Western Kentucky University (WKU) prepared her for the three-year program at Duke.
Clark grew up in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She developed an interest in physical therapy during her 15 years as a dancer. In high school, a local physical therapist visited her dance studio to discuss injury prevention. This experience, along with her interest in science and math, influenced her career choice.
At WKU, Clark majored in exercise science with a pre-physical therapy concentration. She participated in campus organizations such as HonorsToppers and WKU Peer Tutoring.
