Duke’s Cameron Boozer Features in Major Announcement Amid 7-0 Start

The No. 5 Duke Blue Devils haven’t started their ACC slate, but they do have two Power 4 victories already. The first was their 75-60 win over the Texas Longhorns to start the season in the Dick Vitale Invitational, and the second was a 78-66 win over the Kansas Jayhawks on Tuesday, although the latter team was without star guard Darryn Peterson (hamstring).

Forward Cameron Boozer has been a do-it-all superstar for the program, leading the team with 21.1 points per game on 54.9% shooting (37% on 3-pointers), 9.9 rebounds, four assists (tied with twin brother Cayden Boozer), 1.7 steals (tied with Dame Sarr) and 1.3 blocks over 28 minutes. The freshman has four double-doubles and scored 18 points (7-of-17 field goals, 1-of-4 3-pointers) with 11 rebounds and five assists over 34 minutes against the Jayhawks.
