It’s finally time for Sweetgreen to bring its bowls, salads and other healthy bites to a new location in the Triangle.
After much anticipation, the popular chain known for its “plant-forward menu” will open its doors in its new Chapel Hill location on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
The California-based brand, launched by three Washington D.C. college students in 2007, has dozens of locations across the country — including the North Hills spot in Raleigh and a few others in Charlotte.
‘Fresh, plant-forward, earth friendly food’
Chapel Hill’s Sweetgreen, nestled near Top of the Hill and Carolina Coffee Shop at 122 E Franklin St., will offer all of its signature menu items, protein plates and seasonal bites, which range from $10.65 to $21.45.
On opening day, there will be special treats gifted to the 150 guests from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Additionally, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina for every meal purchased that day…
