On December 4, 2025, the Durham County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime and Narcotics Unit seized one kilogram of fentanyl during an investigation in Durham, North Carolina. Officers began the operation after observing activity involving a local man, identified as 28-year-old Jerrad Alexander McPherson. After a short vehicle pursuit, McPherson was arrested. Police recovered a stolen firearm and narcotics at the scene.
Authorities later searched McPherson’s residence and found the fentanyl.
