DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A Durham family is trying everything to keep their toddler son safe from seizures. Finley Mullen recently turned three. He has severe epilepsy that can sometimes lead to hundreds of seizures a day.
At first glance, Finley Mullen seems like a pretty typical toddler. He’s learning to share with his baby brother and enjoys playing with bubbles. Finley’s parents, Ashley and Will, cherish their older son’s smiles and giggles; a short time ago, they say Finley was having so many seizures he could hardly function.
