DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — The National Institutes of Health has awarded a $1.27 million grant to North Carolina Central University to launch a bioengineering program, officials said Thursday.
The grant, received through the NIH’s National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, will be used towards the Biomedical Engineering, Imaging, and Technology Acceleration Initiative at NC Central, according to university officials.
