During the Dec. 4 Butner Town Council meeting, Butner Mayor Linda Jordon was sworn in for her second term, along with new and returning council members Jimmy Walker, Jeanna Benoy and Tom Lane.
Council member Vicky Daniels was also sworn-in as mayor pro tem, replacing outgoing Mayor pro tem Michel Branch.
The newly sworn-in members took their seats at the board following the completion of their oaths…
