Few issues have been head as Duke (11-0) looks to continue a perfect start to their season in their final tune-up before ACC play begins. These Blue Devils haven’t just been dominant and gotten great play from Cameron Boozer; they’ve been clutch when it matters most. In recent weeks, Duke grabbed close wins against Florida and at Michigan State and are certainly battle-tested here in December.
Opportunities have been there for Texas Tech (8-3) to make a splash on the national stage, but they just haven’t taken advantage. The Red Raiders losses have been to Illinois, Purdue, and Arkansas, and they were right there against everyone but the Boilermakers this season. Grant McCasland’s team has the talent to be a major power in the Big 12, though some questions have risen recently about that defense.
