Tiniest patients get festive photoshoot to bring joy to Christmas week at Raleigh hospital

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Christmas week is a tough time to spend in the hospital for many, but the staff at UNC Health Rex is doing their best to keep spirits bright.

With permission from parents, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurses dressed about a dozen of their precious patients in holiday outfits to kick off the holiday week.

“The cute costumes and photos are a welcome distraction for parents whose tiny children aren’t able to go home just yet, and have to spend the holidays in the hospital,” said Alan Wolf with UNC Health.
