As we approach the time to pay homage to one of America’s most iconic civil rights leaders, Morrisville’s Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources department is stepping up to celebrate the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A notable event designed to inspire and reflect upon Dr. King’s dreams and achievements is on the horizon, as revealed in a recent social media post on their official Facebook page.

The event, titled Dream and Create, promises to be an interactive evening, blending storytelling with music to both honor and elevate the contributions of the revered leader. Scheduled for January 12, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Cedar Fork Community Center, the community is invited to intimately engage with the stirring narratives of Dr. King’s life and their contemporary resonance.
