Louisville in recruiting battle with Duke and Indiana after latest 4-star SF update

Louisville basketball received huge recruiting news to start the 2026 calendar year, as the program and fans learned they will host 4-star Trevor Manhertz for an official visit. The 4-star is a small forward in the 2027 class and has emerged as one of the Cards’ top targets.

The race for Manhertz’s commitment has become an ACC battle: the Cardinals learned they will host him for their official visit on January 4, but they also learned that Duke will host him four days earlier, on December 31. The Cards and Blue Devils have already extended an offer to the 4-star, while Notre Dame, Miami, Virginia, and others are showing interest in him.
