DURHAM, N.C. — Durham’s beloved Love Durham campaign is back, mobilizing more than 100 local businesses to inspire residents and visitors to shop small, dine local, and reconnect with the makers, creators, and entrepreneurs who define the Bull City’s identity. Running now through February 28, 2026, the initiative reinforces the power of spending locally — and the impact it has on Durham’s economy, culture, and community spirit.
Love Durham Expands With Over 100 Participating Businesses
Produced by Discover Durham, the county’s destination marketing organization, the Love Durham campaign celebrates the vibrancy, diversity, and innovation of small businesses across the region. According to Durham County Government, small businesses make up over 80% of all establishments in the city — serving as economic engines, job creators, cultural anchors, and storytellers in their own right.
“Durham’s legacy of innovation and inclusivity has shaped the colorful fabric of small businesses we now have today,” said Cara Rousseau, Chief Marketing Officer of Discover Durham. “These businesses create economic opportunities and perpetuate Durham’s culture as a place that welcomes the unconventional and the bold.”
