Thoughts on the AP poll: Duke, top teams remain stable as conference parity dominates the rankings

After winning its first two conference games, Duke stays at No. 6 in the newest rankings. The Blue Zone highlights the biggest movers in this week’s poll and other changes among the men’s and women’s top squads:

Quiet at the top

In an uneventful week for the cream of the crop, each of the top-six teams kept their same ranking as the previous week. Arizona and Michigan remain as the top two squads in a neck-and-neck race for the title of best team in the country. Head coach Tommy Lloyd’s Wildcats keep the top spot by the skin of their teeth this week, one ranking point ahead of the men from Ann Arbor, Mich.
