Woman says man accused of killing North Carolina teacher in home invasion broke into her home twice

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A Durham woman says the man now charged with murdering Raleigh teacher Zoe Welsh broke into her home twice years earlier, and that repeated warnings about his behavior were not taken seriously before it was too late.

Michelle Potchak said Ryan Camacho broke into her home by smashing a window with a rock. She was away at the time.

“He started breaking into my home three days after he got out of prison in 2021,” she aid…
