Man accused of swinging rusty machete outside Raleigh bus station

RALEIGH, N.C. (WBTV) – A man was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly swinging a rusty machete around and making threats inside a Raleigh bus station.

Police went to a disorderly conduct call on Jan. 7, 2026, at the station on Blount Street. According to investigators, Rafael Cisneros began threatening to hurt a woman close by, saying he would cut her. He was also accused of swinging the rusty machete toward a man he was physically close to.

He was charged with disorderly conduct at terminal, carrying concealed weapon, communicating threats, simple affray, go armed to terror of people…
