Etiquette for Buddhist monks’ Walk for Peace

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Buddhist monks will soon arrive in the Triad for their Walk for Peace. WFMY News 2 reached out to experts to learn the proper etiquette as the group draws crowds during their 2,300 mile journey from Fort Worth, TX to Washington D.C.

Cary Brief, the Buddhist Chaplain at Duke University shared how to support the monks in a respectful way. She collected this information from a few sources and added some clarification.
