Fresh out of graduate school, Peter Arcidiacono arrived at Duke as a new face ready to start a career and raise a second son.
Now, 26 years later, the William Henry Glasson distinguished professor of economics has been drawn to Johns Hopkins University, where he will serve as a founding vice dean of the School of Government and Policy.
This spring, Arcidiacono is serving in dual roles. He assumed his position on Johns Hopkins faculty as of Jan. 1 and is simultaneously teaching Economics 201, an intermediate microeconomics course, in what will be his last semester at Duke…
