Following inches of snow and its second consecutive weekend of winter weather, local governments in Orange and Chatham counties alerted residents to how the road conditions and cold temperatures affected their operations for Monday and Tuesday.
Several of the services and amenities in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough and Pittsboro were already affected over the weekend in anticipation of the storm.
