A midafternoon robbery jolted an east Durham shopping strip yesterday when a man in a ski mask walked into the Dollar General on Ganyard Farm Way, flashed a handgun and grabbed cash from the register, according to police. The robbery happened just after 1:15 p.m., and officers said the suspect sprinted out of the store before they arrived. No employees or customers were reported injured, and detectives said the investigation remains active.
