Two more men have been arrested in a violent Feb. 11 home invasion in a neighborhood just outside of Greenville, bringing the total number of people charged to five.
The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office announced that Pedro Miguel Vivanco, 20, of Chapel Hill and Kevin Eduardo Morales Lara, 24, of Carboro were arrested Monday in connection to the incident at 200 Louis St., in the Cherry Oaks neighborhood. Both were arrested in Orange County.
Sheriff’s deputies originally received a report of the break-in about 3:16 a.m. Feb. 11. The sheriff’s office said that men forcibly entered the residence with the intent of assaulting the victim. Court documents said the victim was injured with an edged weapon, restrained against his will and assaulted. The type of weapon has not been released…
