In the inaugural Duke National Health Research Conference (DNHRC), student researchers from across the country and Duke faculty from various health-science disciplines gathered for a day of discussions and collaboration.
The conference, hosted by Duke’s Ivy League+ Pre-Health Society, took place Saturday at the Trent Semans Health Center. The keynote address was delivered by Robert Lefkowitz, Chancellor’s distinguished professor of medicine and one of the University’s two current faculty members with a Nobel Prize. He received the honor in Chemistry in 2012.
