HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (WBTV) – A man allegedly killed a housekeeper at his North Carolina home before he fled to Virginia last week.
The man — 53-year-old Matthew Jared Vukmer — was accused of stabbing 54-year-old Paula Floyd to death on the morning of Friday, March 6, at his house in an Orange County neighborhood.
After the stabbing, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said Vukmer drove away in a Ford Super Duty pickup truck. Hours later, the sheriff’s office said Vukmer was arrested on Friday evening in Grayson County, Va…
