Morrisville man charged after alleged $17K fraud at Greenville business, deputies say

A Morrisville man is facing a felony charge after deputies say he used stolen credit cards to obtain more than $17,000 worth of materials from a Greenville business.

According to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded March 4, 2025, to a report of fraudulent activity at Dillon Supply on U.S. 264 in Greenville.

Investigators said a suspect placed an order for rebar totaling $17,096.69 and paid using a stolen credit or debit card…
