DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Dozens gathered for a community conversation Friday, as Durham County and city leaders continue working to develop a Violence Prevention Plan aimed at curbing gun violence.
“I had two family members get killed by gun violence within the last year,” said Rita McDaniel, “The city needs change. There’s not enough to do for the youth, nothing constructive.”
