A Nash Central High School student has received one of the nation’s more-coveted scholarships.
Amelia Nieves, a Nash Central High senior, has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious Morehead-Cain Scholarship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The Morehead-Cain Scholarship is one of the more competitive and distinguished scholarships awarded by any university in the United States. As a recipient, Nieves will receive a full scholarship to UNC-Chapel Hill, along with access to unique summer enrichment opportunities designed to expand leadership, service and global learning experiences…
