A missing 1-year-old girl has been found safe, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.
An emergency alert was issued Wednesday morning after the child was last seen in a white 1999 Toyota Camry. Investigators said they believed she was with her father, 25-year-old Dominic Antonio Thompson, in Durham, and noted that she was not believed to be in danger.
The investigation began Monday when deputies responded to a disturbance in the 1100 block of Kinnan Drive in Burlington. At the scene, they learned that Thompson had taken his daughter from the home without permission.
