Authorities have arrested a Durham man in connection with a February shooting that left two people injured, according to the Durham County Sheriff’s Office.
Arrest warrants were issued shortly after the Feb. 24 incident for Deonte Jemel Alston, 34, of Durham. Alston was also injured in the shooting and was hospitalized at the time. He has since been released from medical care and is now being held at the Durham County Detention Facility.
Alston faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, assault with a deadly weapon with a minor present, and failure to appear — probation violation. He is being held without bond and is scheduled to make his first court appearance Tuesday…
