UNC student newspaper issues editor’s note following April Fool’s edition criticism

The Daily Tar Heel student newspaper sparked outrage at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after publishing satirical articles on April Fools’ Day regarding immigration enforcement and diversity initiatives.

The publication has since removed the controversial content and issued an apology following intense criticism from student leaders and campus organizations, the Charlotte Observer reports.
