CHAPEL HILL — UNC Health Johnston hospitals in Clayton and Smithfield received top marks for patient safety and quality in the Leapfrog Group’s Spring 2026 hospital safety report card.
Leapfrog, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety, announced its latest grades Wednesday. UNC Health Johnston was among several UNC Health facilities across North Carolina to earn “A” grades in the latest report.
