$45k North Carolina Pokémon heist suspect appears in court

CARY, N.C. (WNCN) — A man accused in a high-stakes Pokémon burglary in Cary remained free on bond Wednesday following his first court appearance at the Wake County Justice Center.

It’s where the suspect and store owners saw one another face-to-face for the first time after the Tuesday heist.

Adam and Tara Reynolds, owners of the Triangle Area Trading Cards store, sat just feet away from 20-year-old suspect James Fillingame in the courtroom.
