A Saturday night shooting on Hoover Road left a woman wounded by gunfire and a man cut by flying glass in east Durham, according to police.
The violence unfolded in the 1100 block of Hoover Road near Angier Avenue, where investigators worked the scene as neighbors looked on. Officials said both victims had injuries that were not life threatening.

According to CBS17, Durham police were called out just before 8:30 p.m. and found two injured people in the 1100 block of Hoover Road. The woman had been shot and was taken to a nearby hospital. The man was hurt by shards of glass from the gunfire.
