OKLAHOMA CITY – Annamaria Thomas of Miami was crowned Miss Oklahoma USA June 14.
Miss Oklahoma USA is an official preliminary pageant to Miss USA.

What was it like when you heard your name called?
Thomas: It was a very surreal moment. This was my first year competing in the USA system, so making it even into the top five was extraordinary for me. Just hearing my name called for the top five is what made me start crying. Just making it that far. It was so surreal and it was almost, like unbelievable…
