New details released in US-177 fiery crash that left one person dead, three injured

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — A 39-year-old Yukon man was killed, and three others were injured on Tuesday afternoon in Pottawatomie County in a three-vehicle crash involving a dump truck.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 1:25 p.m. on Tuesday on US-177 near Summerwood Lane.

A Peterbilt dump truck was traveling south behind a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek that had stopped to make a left turn while waiting for northbound traffic. Another vehicle then passed the stopped Subaru on the right shoulder.
