OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Another delay has been placed in the highly anticipated federal trial of Luigi Mangione for the 2024 murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Mangione, 28, is being charged with first-degree murder, stalking, furtherance in terrorism, and criminal possession of a weapon, to which he plead not guilty to in 2025. If convicted in either the federal or state trial, he could face life in prison.
On Monday U.S. District Judge Margaret Garnett delayed the trial to January 2027. The original trial date was set for later this Fall.
