Animal cruelty charges sought after more than 500 animals rescued in Oklahoma City meth bust

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City Animal Welfare continues to care for more than 500 animals that were rescued from a southeast Oklahoma City residence following a meth bust, and investigators are now seeking animal cruelty charges.

The animals, rescued on June 25, include more than 450 birds, 42 dogs, 4 cats, 4 reptiles, and 1 horse.
