OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) released on Tuesday its year-to-date statistics on guns stolen from vehicles.
So far this year, OCPD says 161 guns have been stolen from vehicles. 124 of those weapons were taken from “unlocked” vehicles.
Authorities advise residents to secure their weapons, saying, “When you leave your car unlocked with a firearm inside, you aren’t just losing a piece of property—you might be providing the weapon used in the next local violent crime.”…
